The kinderstern stands for the rights of refugee children

Their native countries were Chechenya, Azerbaijan, former Yugoslavia and the Iraq. Now the refugee children live with their families in Düsseldorf. Here they live in a foreign culture were they share tiny accommodations with parents who are not allowed to work. The parents feel burdened because they are unable to provide the means of existence. Refugee children therefore often live in a tense family environment. In addition, visiting a school in a foreign country with the different language and culture presents a huge challenge and requires high adaptability and social competence. Since 2007 the Kinderstern e. V. is committed to needs of the refugee children. The Kinderstern e.V. expresses responsibility for these extremely disadvantaged children.
